Online Audition Process 2020/21
Eifman Ballet of St.Petersburg is looking for aspiring dancers with classical training who want to develop their career and perform unique choreography in spectacular productions, demanded all over the world.
About The Company
The company based in St. Petersburg, Russia, and established in 1977 by an outstanding choreographer Boris Eifman. Our touring geography spans over 50 countries, and the company regularly performs in Amsterdam, Beijing, Berlin, London, Madrid, New York, Paris, Prague, Tokyo, Vienna, Warsaw, and other global cities.

Eifman Ballet is renowned among ballet lovers in Asia, Americas, Australia, and Europe, for the ballets Anna Karenina; Beyond Sin; Eugene Onegin; Requiem; Rodin: Her Eternal Idol; Russian Hamlet; Tchaikovsky. PRO et CONTRA; The Pygmalion Effect; etc.

Compensation & Opportunities
  • Regularly perform on the best stages of the world, such as The Bolshoi, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Los Angeles Music Center, Staatsballet Berlin, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, China NCPA, London Coliseum, Palais des Congrès de Paris, etc.
  • 80-120 performances per year, whereof only 20 times in St. Petersburg, and the rest overseas.
  • On top of a monthly salary, dancers get compensated for each appearance on stage.

While the company has been homeless for all its history but very successful on tour, at the moment, a theater building is being constructed. The grand opening is scheduled for 2022. We hope that the Eifman Palace of Dance will become one of the world's centers of choreographic art. After moving to the new venue, the company's repertoire will be supplemented with classical ballet productions.
Studios are based in St.Petersburg. This city is the main cultural center of Russia. We will provide you an accommodation in the historical city center for the duration of the contract for free.
Those aged from 18 to 27 years are invited to participate, but, of course, we welcome everyone who feels inspired. Together we can make your dream about professional development and career advancement come true. Eifman Ballet awaits for its new stars.

Web audition includes:
  • Classical variation
  • Contemporary variation

  • Ladies 1.73 m (5'7") and taller
  • Gentlemen 1.83 m (6'0") and taller
  • Age desirably between 18 and 27 years
  • Classical training

The audition includes 2 parts:
    • In a first step, you should record videos and fill in the application form below. Video recordings of variations must have been recorded not earlier than 1 year ago.
    • The second step is the live audition.
